Every brand I build and every piece of content I produce is rooted in the same intention that started it all: capture the heart of the story - and show it beautifully.
I didn’t grow up in the branding or marketing world — I grew up in Alaska, surrounded by a small but passionate Arabian horse community. It was there that I learned the power of connection, storytelling, and pushing beyond my comfort zone. Horses taught me discipline and heart. The people around them taught me belief.
My love for visual storytelling began unexpectedly while working at a large animal shelter. Armed with a camera, I started photographing the animals and creating content that showed their personalities — not just their profiles. Adoption rates went up. Stories mattered. That was the first time I saw how powerful intentional visuals could be.
From there, I brought that same creative energy into the equine world and eventually into my professional career – spending nearly a decade working for a global magazine and media brand. It became my training ground. I had the privilege of collaborating with incredible clients, photographers, and creatives, learning the nuances of branding, editorial direction, and what truly makes a story resonate. I will forever be grateful for those years – the relationships, the mentorship, and the foundation it gave me.
Today, I get to pour all of that experience into Estes & Co.
